Accommodation Features
The Winery Barn started life as a functioning winery, housing steel tanks, fermenting vats and barrels. The recent transformation has created a spacious and modern retreat which retains only echoes of its working past. The industrial materials that have been retained are softened by the use of contemporary and vintage furnishings, the overall effect being one of understated chic. There are all the inclusions you would expect from a venue of this quality as well as board games, lawn games, fishing rods, picnic basket and art materials to add fun and colour to your stay.
Beautiful Bedrooms with Ensuites
The three beautiful bedrooms are carpeted for your comfort and have fine linens, puffy feather doonas and electric blankets. Two have queen beds and the third has a king size bed which can be separated into two king singles. This room also has a regular single bed, made up as a day bed. Each bedroom has a comfortable and well-lit reading corner for those who like total peace and privacy, and each has its own stylish bathroom complete with warm towels and fluffy robes for loungeing in. The quality toiletries add a touch of luxury.
Living Area
The living area has restful views to the pond, and beyond to green pastures and the vineyard. The large slow-combustion stove is the cool weather draw-card and has a generous wood supply for winter. There is a TV with Austar reception, a DVD and a supply of books, magazines and movies. The spacious sofas are ideal for snoozing away the afternoon in front of the fire.
Modern Kitchen
The well-equipped kitchen has new Bosch oven, Smeg cooktop, dishwasher and washing machine. Small appliances include Nespresso coffee machine, microwave, food processor, stick blender, beater, pasta-maker, toaster and iron. There are ample bowls, platters and white bone china for the preparation and serving of your meals.
Outdoor Setting
Under the covered patio is an electric barbecue for cooking casual meals, and a table setting for enjoying them. The nearby herb garden is for adding a little zest to your creations. There is a sunny bench beside the wall and reclining chaises for your complete relaxation.
Dining
Set the scene for dreamy dinners with candlelight, music and wine. The antique armoir houses CD player, Ipod connection and a selection of CD's and candles. The mirrored cabinet holds the champagne flutes and a range of other glassware.

Search out our hidden picnic spot. Its a shady dell beneath the olive trees that catches all the summer breeze. Or try your hand at catching yabbies in the dam. You could even share the grassy banks of the pond with our resident geese for a game of croquet, boules or horse-shoes. Perhaps you may like to go for a stroll in the vineyard or visit in autumn and lend a hand with the harvest. The beach and river are only minutes away.
